Wonderland Shakedown Production Blog: 1

This is concept art for a new animated short I'm creating based on Alice in Wonderland, called Wonderland Shakedown. The short will be a music video showing how Alice get's transported to wonderland and how she meets Lucky, the white rabbit. When Lucky is in the real world, he appears as a man in a rabbit costume, but Alice is able to see what he really looks like. He's known as "The Rabbit Robber" in the real world, a criminal that robs banks but never takes any of the money.

Animation Layout

Wonderland Shakedown originally started out as an idea for a one shot comic called 52 Pickup I created for an online contest, where they were going to fight a bunch of the Queen of Hearts card soldiers. I think I ended up working on the KERSLASH web comic instead and put that idea on the back burner. I still thought about it a lot though, and created a lot of art based on it.

I took a long break from creating animation for a while to focus on making games and comics and such, but I'm back to making original animated content and am excited to finally share this with you guys. I’ll keep you posted and let you know when I have some finished animation to show off!
